I was born in Marion, SC and grew up in that small town, which is located about 50 miles from Myrtle Beach, SC. After graduating from Marion High School, I attended the The Citadel in Charleston, SC & graduated with a BS Degree in Business Administration. Following the Citadel, I spent some time in the US Army and in Air Defense Artillery School at Fort Bliss, Texas. While attending The Citadel & while in the US Army, I learned the skills related to teamwork & organization unique to the armed forces which has helped me better serve buyers & sellers in my real estate career. I spent many years in the Real Estate business in my hometown working at the Horinbein Agency with my dad, who was also a Realtor®️ & Home Builder. We sold existing homes, managed rental properties, and built custom and spec homes. I moved to the Myrtle Beach area in 1981 to help operate a family-owned water treatment dealership where I’ve helped thousands of customers throughout the Grand Strand area. After selling the family business, I reactivated my Broker’s License & joined Keller Williams Realty in Myrtle Beach as a Real Estate Agent in 2018 to help buyers & sellers with their real estate needs. I received the Graduate, REALTOR®️ Institute designation (GRI), I’m a licensed Real Estate Broker in South Carolina, and a member or the Local, State, & National Association of Realtors. I’m married & live in Myrtle Beach with my wife, Patricia. Patricia retired from the Horry County Schools after spending 23 years helping kindergarten & special needs children. I spend my free time reading, camping, hiking, & volunteering at my church, Surfside Presbyterian Church. I enjoy helping people buy and sell their property!
